Your posture is a very important if you are having any spine problems: lower back, mid back, upper back and neck. The most important part of a proper posture is to have a straight back all the time. A straight back will provide proper stabilization and cease any future neck pain issues. There are many other neck pain causes, but these are the most common ones and the most basic.

The best thing for a muscle strain is cold. Obtain an cold object- frozen meat, ice pack, ice in a bottle use your imagination. Put it in on the area of pain 3 times a day for 3 days and you should see immediate results. Cold will help with any swellings and inflammations and additionally will help with any muscle recovery.

You might have heard that doing stretches with an injured neck might put more risk on further injury. This is right if you doing it hard, but it is recommended to stretch a neck when it is strained.
